Jazz Outreach 2007

Jazz Outreach 2007 celebrated its 10th anniversary at a new venue, The Emerald House, on Sunday, March 11th. More than 500 people attended and were treated to six hours of non-stop jazz, performed by Kansas City's premier artists. New this year was the introduction of a 2nd stage, allowing for seamless presentation of more than 35 solo and group performers. Young jazz talents, destined to carry on the unique Kansas City Jazz sound, were featured, such as Leon Brady’s K.C. Youth Jazz Bands and Grandpa’s Cough Syrup. More than $43,000 was raised in support of Swope Health Services. We are grateful to our sponsors.
