Mission

Swope Health Services is a nonprofit system of outpatient health centers located throughout a five-county area in Missouri and Kansas. Our mission is to improve the well-being of individuals and families by providing compassionate, quality and affordable physical and behavioral healthcare that is accessible to all community members.

We have established health centers in central Kansas City, MO; the Northland area (north of the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri); in Independence, Missouri; and in Kansas City, Kansas. We treat more than 40,000 patients a year, 90 percent of whom live below the poverty level, and 18,000 are children.
